Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.
Our canteen provides breakfast for all students from 8:30am every day. Students also receive a morning fruit snack, recess and lunch from the canteen.
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

In 2018, students collaborated as part of a Visual Design Project to design a polo shirt that celebrates the school community. There are four colour versions for secondary, primary, pre-school and staff, representing all the colours of Paakantji land. The animals on the shirt represent the totems of the students. The school sport mascots , Kiiku (sulphur crested cockatoo) and Thiilyana (ring neck parrot) can be seen flying over the river. Wilcannia is sign posted on the white line of the Darling River with an image of the distinctive bridge, as well as animal tracks leading to it.
Celebration shirts are available from the school office for $30 each.
